The Penang Government has set up a state Heritage Steering Committee advisory panel to execute the World Heritage Site Management Plan for George Town.
Forty-one international and local conservation experts, non-governmental organisation representatives, historians, academicians and professionals are sitting on the panel, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said.
“The panel, chaired by me, will have its first meeting on Aug 16,†he told a press conference Saturday
