via Dantri News, 17 July 2023: A cannon from the 19th century, believed to be from the Nguyen Dynasty, was discovered at a construction site along the Tam Bac River in Hai Phong and handed over to the Hai Phong Museum for further examination and preservation.
Construction workers discovered the gun on July 16 when they dug a drench to install the sewer as part of the Tam Bac River Renovation Project (Phase 2).
Being notified of the news, relevant agencies rushed t the scene and believed it was a cannon. They later handed it over to the Hai Phong Museum for preservation.
