via Vietnam Net, 09 November 2022: These petroglyphs in Vietnam’s Yen Bai province speak to a larger tradition across northern Vietnam.
Experts believe the engravings on these stone blocks are highly detailed and resemble terraced fields, which are similar to ancient carved stone blocks found in Lao Chai Commune, Mu Cang Chai District in 2015, 2020, and 2021.
A team of specialists has been working in Hang Chua Say Village, Che Cu Nha Commune, Mu Cang Chai District to analyze and interpret the mysterious stone blocks found in this area, according to Hoang Tien Long, Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Museum.
