via Nhan Dan, 26 August 2022: The French Ministry of Culture will help restore a building in the Hue Citadel complex.
The Ministry of Culture of France has provided a non-refundable aid worth over 840 million VND (nearly 36,000 USD) to help the central province of Thua Thien – Hue implement a project to restore the roof of Khai Tuong Lau (Khai Tuong Building) at An Dinh Palace in the Complex of Hue Monuments.
The project aims to repair roof leaks, and minimise the risk of damage to other parts of the building, contributing to returning the inherent beauty of the palace and promote the overall value of An Dinh Palace relic.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre will be responsible for implementing the work.
