The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) praised Cambodia for the country’s efforts to protect the Angkor heritage area.
The commendation was made by Sardar Umar Alam, UNESCO Representative in the Kingdom of Cambodia, during a meeting with, with Dr Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, yesterday.
