via Phnom Penh Post, 08 July 2022: The Cambodian Prime Minister also recently comemmorated the anniversary of inscription of Sambor Prei Kuk to Unesco World Heritage.
Prime Minister Hun Sen on July 8 commemorated the fifth anniversary of the inscription of the Temple Zone of Sambor Prei Kuk into UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list, a status he said has strengthened the area’s appeal as a cultural and historical travel destination.
Hun Sen said in a statement that the listing has not only met with acclaim from the international community, but also helped raise the profile of Cambodian temples and cultural heritage assets to the world.
