Dublin, what an awesome idea. Others suggested Italy or Spain or the south of France, but personally there’s no other place in Europe I’d rather attend a conference than gorgeous, sunny Dublin.
Plus, what a well-deserved gift to Ireland’s burgeoning Southeast Asian archaeology scene. I hear it’s booming over there thanks to all those excess research dollars they have to throw around, not to mention their track record of excellence in this particular field. Sign me up!
