The Penang state government in Malaysia is seeking tenders for the restoration of the historic Fort Cornwallis, which was built in 1786.
Penang Calls For Proposals To Restore Fort Cornwallis

The state government has called for proposals from companies for the restoration of Fort Cornwallis here aimed at turning the historical site into an international heritage icon.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said interested parties had three months, from June 1 to Aug 30, to submit their proposals.
The request for proposals is open to local as well as foreign companies with a strong financial position and a paid-up capital of US$500,000 (RM1.6 million).
“This is a collaboration between the state government and the private sector. We want the proposals to fully comply with all the elements of good heritage management practices,” he said.
