via Straits Times, 26 August 2019: There are 200 abandoned graves in Singapore’s Mount Faber and nobody knows anything about them, but they appear to be at least 100 years old. Story is behind a paywall but there’s a video that can still be watched without reading the story.
At the foot of a jogging path leading to the Mount Faber cable car station is an overgrown cemetery consisting of some 200 old, abandoned tombs.
The stories of who these Marang Road graves belong to are a mystery, even to heritage researchers of the area like Mr Sarafian Salleh.
