Archaeologists from the Vietnamese History Museum announce the end of excavations at Bai Coi in Ha Tinh Province. The site is estimated to be a 2,000 years old site with human burials.

Experts unearthed 16 groups of tombs with 14 tombs made of soil, one jar tomb and one vase tomb. All tombs are oriented in the northeastern-southwestern direction. Many rare objects made of stone, bronze, iron, terra-cotta and pottery were discovered in the seven holes.
After the excavation, scientists from the Vietnam History Museum and the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Agency said that Bai Coi is a 2000-year-old civilization. Further excavations will likely unearth many more invaluable secrets of the ancient civilisation.
