The mausoleum of the Nguyen Dynasty King Tu Duc (1829-1883) will be restored by a joint German-Vietnamese team from now until mid-next year. Tu Duc’s tomb has been described as a romantic fairyland which include pools and gardens.

A group of experts from the Germany Conservation, Restoration and Education Projects organization are making a survey at the tomb of King Tu Duc in the central city of Hue.
This is the start for a project to preserve and restore the outside part of the above architectural work, which is scheduled from late March 2009 to mid-2010.
