via Myanmar International TV, 23 May 2023: The Bagan Archaeological Museum is submitting an application to the central gvernment for a long-needed upgrade.
Khet Khet Hla ( In charge),Bagan Archaeological Museum said “We submitted to Nay Pyi Taw the verification of captions in English and Myanmar written under the exhibited items. The mural paintings are damaged, so repairs will be made. The temperature of the lamps installed is too high, so the oIn the multimedia gallery, the efforts made to be included in the World Heritage List and also working to provide written explanations of the history of the items displayed in the galleries.
Due to the large number of visitors, if the using modern technologies, the people can be interested and it will be more profitable.ld lamps have to be replaced to the downlight and spotlight. The museum is 25 years old, it needs to be prepared, and so the work to upgrade it has been submitted to Nay Pyi Taw.”
