via Khmer Times, 27 January 2023: Highlights from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts’ annual meeting.
The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts has preserved and restored 48 ancient buildings and 540 artifacts to continue to promote Cambodia’s cultural, civilisation and artistic heritage.
This was revealed at the opening ceremony yesterday of a meeting to review the Ministry’s achievements last year and the direction of implementation of this year’s policies.
Culture and Fine Arts Minister Phoeurng Sackona said that last year, the Ministry’s team continued work to preserve and develop all cultural properties and art and achieved more than 97% completion of the total plan,.
