Parts of Bujang Valley closed for maintenance

Some areas of the Lembah Bujang Historical Complex will be closed until further notice for maintenance work. This closure does not affect the Bujang Valley Archaeological Museum.

Temporary closure of historical complex in Lembah Bujang
New Straits Times, 29 July 2009

The historical complex and monuments in Lembah Bujang in Merbok near here will be temporarily closed to the public, beginning August.

Lembah Bujang Archeological Museum assistant curator Nurul Azlida Ghozali said the temporary closure is to enable maintenance work, among others, to be carried out at the complex.

Also affected are the Sultan Muzafar Shah tomb, enshrinement complex and all shrines outside the valley.
