Metallurgy and Metalworking

Metallurgy is the science and technology of producing and refining metals. Metalworking is the art of making metal objects. This page covers the archaeology of metallurgy in Southeast Asia, including the so-called Bronze and Iron Ages of Southeast Asia. It also includes information on metal artefacts, made from bronze, iron, silver and gold, as well as jewellery.
