The Department of Archaeology at Silpakorn University is organising a a one-month online field school starting next month, which will focuses on Southeast Asian archaeology and is open to all. Silpakorn Archaeological Field School 2022 – An online learning/ distance learning course organized by The Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University covers the various topics on archaeological fieldwork and practices in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Course format: 100% of an online course is in English via the Google Classroom platform, the learners can choose their own time to study through short lectures and demonstration video recordings, including supplementary materials from the faculty members of the Department of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, the other Thais and Foreign experts.
Course duration: Four weeks long starting on 14 February through 14 March 2022, approximately 13 hours to complete.
Who is eligible: A student, researcher, and academic staff have a background in archaeology and would like to upskill the archaeological fieldwork, including an interested guest who would like to add new skills in archaeology.
Learning evaluation: E-certificate will provide the participants who pass all the weekly exams. (got more than 60%)
