The Bukit Tengkorak Archaeological Heritage Site Museum here is expected to be open to the public in mid-July, said Sabah East Coast Museums curator Juanis Ogak.

Juanis said preparation of the exhibits was being carried out with the cooperation of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and the National Heritage Department.

“The Bukit Tengkorak Archaeological Heritage Site Museum is among the most important archaeological sites not only in Semporna but also in the country. It will become a landmark for Semporna,” he told Bernama.
