Borobudur is not 200 years of course, but this year is the anniversary of its ‘discovery’ by Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles. The celebrate this bicentenary, postage stamps have been issued.
Malaysia launched a set of stamps themed around its World Heritage Sites, Taman Negara Mulu, Taman Kinabalu, George Town and Malacca. Incidentally as well, I decided this year to start collecting archaeology-themed stamps albeit on a when-i-remember it basis. I picked up a set on account of the archaeological finds in Malacca.
