Archaeologists in Indonesia are investigating a buried ruin, believed to be a Majapahit-period temple, in a village in Lumajung Regency, East Java.

Tim Balai Arkeologi Yogyakarta melakukan penggalian awal untuk meneliti temuan yang diduga sebuah candi di Desa Kedungmoro, Kecamatan Kunir, Kabupaten Lumajang, Selasa, 13 Januari 2015. Penggalian awal dan penelitian ini, menurut rencana, berlangsung hingga Jumat, 16 Januari 2015.

Berdasarkan laporan masyarakat setempat, dinding bangunan terbuat dari bata merah dengan motif perempuan penari Kahyangan, hiasan Sangha (senjata Dewa Wisnu), relief kuda, sulur-sulur bunga, dan lain-lain.
