The Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi Tuesday opened an exhibition of more than 70 pottery objects dating up to four millennia back.

Pottery statues are one of the first sculpture works in human civilizations and those found in Vietnam have been considered diverse in materials, kinds of glaze and their usage.

Visitors are introduced a story of Vietnam’s history through the objects from around 4,000 years ago until the early 1900s during the Nguyen, the country’s last ruling family.
