The Lam Dong provincial museum said Friday it has received 10 prehistoric items from a local farmer in the Central Highlands province.

The family of farmer Dinh Ba Dai, who is from Lien Phuong Village in Cat Tien District’s Gia Vien Commune, discovered the items while digging a hole to plant trees on a hill, the museum said.

According to the museum’s preliminary judgment, the items are tools that were used for labor and production. They are composed of sandstone with black or grey ivory.
