Ancient Vietnamese capital one step closer to world heritage listing
The Vietnamese department of culture is one step closer to having the ancient capital of Vietnam in Thanh Hoa Province listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site by completing a scientific profile of the citadel site.

According to UNESCO’s requests, the Management Board for Ho dynasty citadel relic, under Thanh Hoa Department of Culture and Information, has built a library and a scientific profile of 132 books and magazines about the Ho dynasty’s citadel; 18 historical relic sites and 7 plans and projects covering transportation, tourism and mining in Vinh Loc district which are related to the Ho dynasty citadel; 248 drawings and one map detailing the actual state of the relic site; and maps to establish the exact position of the proposed property.
